Race was born and raised in Panama City, Florida. He developed a strong work ethic and competitive spirit at an early age through martial arts, water sports, and working in his family’s medical business. After gaining experience in land development, logistics, and construction management, Race entered the legal profession with a practical understanding of the construction industry. These experiences laid the foundation for his practical, business-minded, and results-oriented approach to the practice of law.
Prior to joining the firm, Race worked alongside several accomplished trial attorneys and helped many clients navigate complex and high-stakes disputes. Race concentrates his practice on construction law and has experience litigating a wide range of matters involving owners, contractors, suppliers, design professionals, and sureties. Race’s practice includes lien foreclosures, contract disputes, construction defect claims, and surety bond disputes. By combining thorough preparation with responsive communication and candid counsel, Race works efficiently to advance his clients’ objectives.
Race earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2020. By the time he graduated law school, Race studied at the University of Oxford, earned a Certificate in Environmental, Natural Resources, and Land Use Law, and won the national Villanova Mulroy Real Estate Challenge. In his spare time, Race enjoys fishing, scuba diving, and exercise, and he is committed to community service through his church and pro bono legal services.
